Southern Pacific Sands has been the supplier of a number of large scale significant infrastructure works through South East Queensland. Listed below are examples of the projects we have supplied.

South Bank Beach

After the 2011 flood devastation, over 3000t of Southern Pacific Sands triple washed sand was chosen for the replacement of the South Bank Streets Beach swimming hotspot. This unique swimming beach lagoon requires the cleanest white sand to ensure crystal clear water.

South Bank Parklands Landscaping

Along with supplying Over 1000t of USGA blended sand supplied for the redevelopment of Southbank in 2011, Southern Pacific Sands was involved in the supplying material during the original construction of Southbank.

Redcliffe Beach Nourishment – Captain Cook Park

Southern Pacific Sands supplied approximately 4,600t of specialty graded sand for the beach nourishment project located at Captain Cook Park, Redcliffe. Over 1000t per day supplied during the installation process.

Roma St Parkland

4250t of special blends specifically designed for use in redevelopment and maintenance of the Roma Street Parklands between 2007 to current.

Airport Link

Over 4000t of Turf Sand blends specifically produced for the establishment of the Airport Link garden, turf and aesthetics works

Hale Street Link

Over 3500t of sand supplied in 13t body truck loads during the construction of the Hale Street Link.

Wynnum Wading Pool

1580t of clean washed sand was supplied by Southern Pacific Sands as part of the $6.5 million 75th anniversary upgrade of the heritage listed Wynnum Wading Pool by Brisbane City Council in 2008.

Doomben Polo Field

Over 3500t of Southern Pacific Sands Sports Turf Blend was selected for the construction and ongoing maintenance of the newly built Polo Field located within the Doomben Racecourse Facility.

Kangaroo Point Cliffs TAFE Redevelopment

Supply of over 2000t of USGA sand with specialty blended additives during redevelopment in 2009.
